Jocelyn Harvest Festival

The Jocelyn Harvest Festival is one of St. Joseph Island's most popular family events.  Held the Saturday of Labour Day Weekend, its collection of antiques, children's craft fair, demonstrations, music, games, and parade set amongst the rolling hills and orchard of Mountainview Centennial Park makes it a delightful way to end summer.

Visitors enjoy a wagon ride from the Children's Craft Fair at the Municipal Building back to the orchard in the Mountainview Centennial Grounds

The sound of local singers and musicians filled the air during the afternoon

One of the highlights of the day is the Annual Antique and Tractor Parade
with . . .

. . . antique cars . . .

. . . tractors old and new, large and . . .

. . . small . . .

Harvest Festival is a time for good eats like Sloppy Joes, homemade pies, and delicious, St. Joseph Island corn - on - the - cob

Children love the petting area which this year featured a weeks old miniature horse

Clowns and balloons delight the children

Unique people with unique talents like Graham Shell and his display of wooden vehicle and machinery replicas

Young and old enjoy the many exhibits found at the Jocelyn Harvest Festival

Loggers and visitors try their hand at sawing logs the "old fashioned way"

Each year dozens of artists, artisans, and crafts people display their work amongst the trees of the old orchard

Demonstrations such as thrashing are part of the unique nature of this once a year event

The Harvest Festival features antique tractors, farm machinery, and steam engines

A future farmer tries a tractor on for size
