ST. JOSEPH ISLAND  MAPLE SYRUP FESTIVAL
April
3 & 4, 10 & 11, 2004
Warm days and cool nights sets the sap a flowing . . . it's syrup making time on the Island. St. Joseph Island hosts a number of producers including a couple of World Champions and the largest syrup operation in Ontario.  Many producers welcome visitors. Enjoy pancakes, sausage and fresh syrup at the James Harten Community Centre on weekends.

THE MOUNTAIN MAPLE RUN / WALK

This event takes place on cross country trails.  The RUGGED trail system is the one used for cross country skiing in winter.  The course is one loop for the 5km run and 5km walk, and two loops for the 10km run.  Sponsored by the Jocelyn Recreation Committee.
