St. Joseph Township maintains an active and dedicated volunteer fire department for your protection.  Currently, over 20 volunteers make themselves available to respond to fire, vehicular, and other emergencies.  The department maintains a pumper, tanker and rescue van, all equipped with the necessary support apparatus.  In an emergency, residents should call 911.  For further information, contact Joe Cardinal, Fire Chief :  246-0892.
