 St. Joseph Township recognizes the importance of conserving natural resources and energy. The municipality supports and participates in a district recycling program of cardboard, paper, aluminum and steel cans, bottles and jars, and No. 1 and 2 plastics. Residents and visitors are strongly encouraged to participate by depositing their recyclables at the RECYCLE DEPOT located at the Hwy. 17 Trading Post (Hwys. 548 and 17). Recycling is not only good for the environment but saves YOU money by extending the life of our municipal landfill site.
